Open documents which were open at last time quitting, when Tree starts up.
You can configure that function on Preferences. If no documents were open last time quitting, Tree open new document window.
- Select "Preferences..." from "Tree" on menubar.
- Click "General" on toolbar of Preferences panel.
- Enable "Open documents which were open at last time quitting". Click "OK", and Preference panel will close.
Change delete-key's behavior while editing item text.
You can make Tree not to remove the item at typing delete-key while editing the item which had no contents.
- Select "Preferences..." from "Tree" on menubar.
- Click "General" on toolbar of Preferences panel.
- Turn "Delete item by delete, when current item had no content" off. Click "OK", and Preference panel will close.
Too small characters on the print of Treeview.
- Open documents to print, and select "Page Setup..." from "File" on menubar.
- Select "Tree" from "Settings:".
- Select "Treeview", select "Scale to fit page width", and click "OK". You will get the print in pages.
Indent items by tab-key.
Enable Indent items by tab-key and Outdent items by shift-key + tab-key.
- Open documents to print, and select "Page Setup..." from "File" on menubar.
- Click "General" on toolbar of Preferences panel.
- Enable "When pressing tab, indent item (shif-tab/Outdent)", and click "OK".
Insert newline by return-key.
Enable insert newline in current item text by return-key.
- Open documents to print, and select "Page Setup..." from "File" on menubar.
- Click "General" on toolbar of Preferences panel.
- Enable "Insert a new line in the current item by return", and click "OK".

Holding option-key and type return-key.
Specify title of the print other than file name.
Use Document Properties.
- Select "Document Properties..." from "File" on menubar.
- Fill in "title", and click "OK".
Specified title will be used from next printing.
Exit editing text.
Exit editing text to apply edited text and to select current item.
- You can type "esp-key" to exit editing text.
- Holding "command-key" and "type .-key", works too.
- Or click where there is no items.
Release selection.
Make no items to be selected.
- Type "esp-key" to release selection.
- "command-key" + ".-key" also works.
- Or click where there is no items.
After then, selection will return at typing one of arrow keys.
